La imaginación histórica en el siglo XIX
This volume constitutes a theoretical siege to a set of discursive practices that contributed to design, from the dawn of emancipation to the instances of the modernized process, the Latin American imaginary of the nineteenth century. The studies compiled in this book explore, beyond thematic and methodological diversity, a common problem: that which refers to the processes and strategies of discursive appropriation through which writing registers and reconverts the political and social materiality of the continent during the period of national formation and consolidation, producing stories that give meaning to the historical vicissitudes and contributing to the conformation of collective identities.
